Overview of Blueberry Chocolate
Combine the best of all worlds with this chocolate and blueberry cake. It is both sweet and savoury, and they complement each other well! Even without eggs, it is so moist that it remains soft for days.
Chocolate cake recipes abound, and a few of our favourites include Triple Chocolate Layer Cake, Cookie & Cream Cake, and Brooklyn Blackout Cake.
Cake Reasons to Appreciate
If you are looking for a safe cake for those with allergies, go no further than this one (vegan).
The cake is moist, rich, and utterly delectable.
The icing is flavoured with blueberries!
With a whisk, you can whip up the batter in a single big bowl in only a few minutes!
It features chocolate chips inside the batter, a chocolate ganache drip, and chocolate chips sprinkled on top.
For The Pudding Of The Cake
If you are allergic to nuts and gluten, look for gluten-free flour produced in a nut-free facility. Even though it contains dairy, this product is one of my favourites.
To produce homemade buttermilk, we combine white vinegar with the dairy of choice.
To keep the cake moist, this cake utilises vegetable oil instead of a bread baking stick.
Since the cheesecake is eggless, the cornstarch water helps keep everything together.
To Frozen And Drip
Use softened, not melted, butter/vegan baking sticks; otherwise, your frosting will be messy.
The frosting's hue is enhanced with the addition of blueberry jam.
This frosting is made using water rather than milk.
The drip is made with heavy cream, but I'll explain how to make it vegetarian in a moment.
Which Cocoa Powder To Use
Many people have inquired how I get such deep chocolate hues in my baked items. The secret ingredient is a bit of dark chocolate powder added to the batter.
Remember that cocoa butter is quite dry. Unlike Dutch or Natural Unsweetened, Dark is significantly drier.
Your baked items would be dehydrated and bitter if you used dark cocoa powder.
Instead of using both kinds of cocoa powders, use Dutch or Natural Unflavored.
Smoothing Out The Batter
It is common for gluten-free flour batters to retain their shape when cooked.
It will stay that way if you do not straighten it out before baking.
Gently use a butter knife to smooth the tops of the cakes after they've been baked.
Make Your Buttermilk At Home
The milk should be in a big cup, so measure approximately 1 cup. Stir, add one tablespoon of white vinegar and mix well. This is your homemade buttermilk.
Get The Cornstarch Water To A Dreamy State
Mix the cornstarch with water in a large bowl with a spoon until the mixture is fragile and runny. At first, it will be thick.
Then Add The Liquid Items
To begin, combine all flour mixtures and create a well in the middle. Cornstarch water combination, homemade buttermilk, warm water, and vegetable oil or vanilla should also be added to the recipe.
The mixture should be smooth and well combined at this point. Switch to a spatula if it becomes too thick.
